it seems like just yesterday
i was making choices, going places
that i’d never been before
i was confident and excited
that i was doing the right thing
that everything would be fine

but now my head is spinning
and my heart’s tied up in knots
and just don’t know what to do

give me a word, give me a sign
please tell me everything will be fine
i just can’t handle all these crazy thoughts
i’m so confused, don’t know what to do
please help me understand the truth
i need to know what kind of plans you have for me
